ABOUT NIRA
A clinical perspective. A deeply human approach.

Independence is personal.
Physical Therapist-led insight & thoughtful home design to help you navigate life's changes, preserve independence, and make the most of the place you call home.
We believe planning for the future should feel empowering. Not clinical. Not overwhelming. And never at the expense of what makes a home yours.
Our role is to listen carefully, explain options clearly, and help you make informed decisions. Recommendations are individual; no home modification can eliminate every risk.

Doctor of Physical Therapy · Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist
I’m a Physical Therapist and Certified Age in Place Specialist with experience across home health, outpatient orthopedics, and inpatient rehabilitation.
Nira started at home. My 94-year-old grandmother has always been a strong, independent woman, someone who valued her ability to care for herself and live life on her own terms. Over the past 30 years, I’ve watched her age and gradually lose mobility and independence, impacting her confidence, happiness, and sense of purpose.
Moving her into a different facility was never an option. With our family’s background in real estate and remodeling, we began making thoughtful changes to our home to better support her evolving needs.
Today, at 94, she is able to move through our home and manage daily activities like bathing and dressing independently. Seeing the difference that a thoughtfully adapted home can make has shaped my belief that aging should not mean giving up independence.
That belief is where Nira Mobility & Design began.
Nira means “together”—my promise to work side by side with every person and family I serve.
